Lets keep our environment clean

During this protect we plan to help Mother Nature by reducing the garbage in our city: Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

In our city our most important ecosystems are the lakes, and our beaches, because they are in charge of supplying us with water and fish and  it's the center of our economy thanks to the port. But there's a huge problem which might end with all that one day, and we humans are the source of it, it's called garbage.

At least 16 Mexican beaches were heavily contaminated, and even have caused health problems among residents and tourists. The Federal Attorney for Environmental Protection (Profepa) noted that contamination by fecal waste, sewage, garbage and industrial waste from gastrointestinal diseases has led to acute respiratory infections.

Even though most of the garbage in beaches and lakes can't be collected and we can't destroy the harm and damage it has already made, we can totally stop trowing garbage just everywhere we want, and could also pick up garbage in our community sometime in a while and that way we could create a habit.

Our group has already started this in our community, we have gone to the beach and lake.

 Now that I told you all that I just want to invite you to take this initiative and invite your friends to also do this, maybe I'll be boring but I can totally guarantee you that your kids, grandsons, and nature will thank you some day for living them a better world, because the change in is your hands it's up to you if you take it or not...
